Honestly, I just want a "fun" and "easy-going" module that can multi-role while simultaneously being able to go air to air while not being micro intensive in managing TWS, radar scope & etc. So recommendations between the SU-33 and MIG-29? Many thanks all!

MiG-29, you get several variants in one package plus it can do Ground Attack missions. The F-15 has better radar-guided missiles and radar, the MiG has better heat-seekers and has an IRST sensor for passively locating targets. I agree with the people who say you should wait for the sale and pick up all the FC3 jets.

It has an advantage over the Mig-29 series in that instead of a backup hud it has a top down radar and missile ranging display. There's an option to change the hud to english from russian as well. Until I got my first full fidelity aircraft I flew the Su-33 almost exclusively even when I bought the FC3 pack.
To put into cotext of how bad the SMT flight model is right now I just 1v1ed a friend right now in F-4E vs mig-29SMT both aced, min fuel, max crew level, and fully spaded. F-4E won almost every single fight wether both planes were carrying missiles or not. Its kinda sad what they did to the mig-29 FM.
